Pa. - RETTEW, a comprehensive engineering, planning and environmental
consulting firm serving the mid-Atlantic region, today announced
that Shawn E. Fabian, CPESC, NICET III, recently earned international
certification as a certified professional in stormwater quality
(CPSWQ) from EnviroCert International, Inc. (formerly CPESC,
Inc.). Fabian is one of only 16 individuals in the commonwealth
to be a certified professional in erosion and sediment control
(CPESC) and CPSWQ, which together qualify him as an erosion
and sediment (E&S) control as well as stormwater quality
expert.

LANCASTER, Pa. - RETTEW, a comprehensive
engineering, planning and environmental consulting firm serving
the mid-Atlantic region, was recently awarded a contract by
the Pennsylvania Environmental Council to provide a trail/greenway
master plan and feasibility study for the Greater Kingston
Area in Luzerne County.
Funded in part by a grant from the Department of Conservation
and Natural Resources (DCNR) Keystone Recreation, Park and
Conservation Fund Grant Program, the project will identify
potential trail and greenway routes for passive recreation
uses within eight municipalities and include the Boroughs
of Courtdale, Edwardsville, Forty Fort, Kingston, Larksville,
Luzerne, Pringle and Swoyersville. The goals of the project
include linking Back Mountain Trail, Luzerne County Levee
Trail System, Susquehanna Warrior Trail and West Side Trail
and providing connections to area parks, schools, senior citizen
facilities and healthcare facilities.
