Resource Conservation
Protecting, preserving and restoring the
natural environment in the midst of growth is goal #1 in the
resource conservation market. At RETTEW, we believe that educating
the public on ways to protect clean waterways, threatened
and endangered species and related habitats is key to achieving
this goal. Often, community residents and organizations are
willing to roll up their sleeves and become active volunteers
in completing watershed and stream restoration projects. Of
course, smooth agency coordination and permit approvals are
also important. And as with most of these endeavors, securing
grant monies and other funding—a proven RETTEW specialty—is
crucial to the success of conservation efforts.
