The client was constructing its first gathering system to connect existing and proposed natural gas wells to an existing transmission pipeline in the Marcellus Shale. In a market where local, state, and federal regulations change almost daily, the client needed an expert consultant to guide the client through exploration and transmission operation regulations while providing the variety of services necessary to successfully complete the project.

Our Answer
RETTEW provided a wide array of services, including environmental and other regulatory agency permitting, high level GIS and CADD mapping, surveying, geosciences-related services, and land development-related services to complete the gathering system project. Within seven months, RETTEW assisted the client in successfully permitting, field routing, designing, and constructing its first gathering system in the Marcellus Shale Formation.
