The Challenge
An energy company leased approximately 18,000 acres from 15 separate owners to install and operate wind turbines and the transmission lines required to deliver energy from them into homes across the nation. The company wanted a full-service firm who could effectively and efficiently deliver all aspects of the project on time and under budget while remaining sensitive to the intrinsic legal concerns of the project.

Our Answer
RETTEW conducted the initial boundary surveys of the project site and located the existing encumbrances for the design and construction of the wind turbines and related infrastructure. Additionally, RETTEW provided the experience necessary to successfully complete ALTA/ACSM land title surveys to protect the rights of the existing landowners. As the project moves forward toward construction, RETTEW will also provide land development, environmental sciences, and construction surveying services. When complete, the wind farm will provide local residents with a sustainable, low-carbon source of alternative energy. |
