The Challenge
Worlds
End State Park is located in the rugged mountains of Sullivan
County, Pennsylvania. This 780-acre park is popular year-round
for recreational activities including camping, whitewater
boating, fishing, swimming and hiking, but its facilities
desperately needed to be updated since most were built between
1934 and 1941.

Our Answer
RETTEW
provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental,
surveying, land development and structural services for a
new visitor's center, bath houses, comfort stations, a beach
house and new wastewater disposal and water distribution systems.
Under Pennsylvania 's Growing Greener Program, RETTEW worked
closely with DCNR to incorporate recycled materials, geothermal
systems and other sustainable features into the design.
