RETTEW has two new professional certifications in our ranks.

A Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional certification highlights the expertise of those who design, install, and maintain sustainable landscapes.

RETTEW’s Kara Kalupson, Senior MS4 Coordinator, and Joel Esh, Senior Designer, have both trained for and passed the credential exam. They are qualified to use sustainable landscape techniques, emphasizing stormwater retrofit best practices and conservation landscaping with native plants to benefit the environment.

The certification is an important distinction. Across the six states in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, many agencies, organizations, and communities are working together to take steps to keep the bay healthy.

Kara and Joel work closely with local governments, environmental groups, and community organizations. Their knowledge will help ensure these practices function as intended to meet goals surrounding stormwater runoff and stream composition.

We’re proud to have such dedicated and expert staff on our team!
