Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP)

Administered through PA DEP, this grant program funds a range of environmental education projects to improve environmental literacy among youth and adults. Eligible projects are innovative formal and non-formal environmental education projects that address grant program priorities, provide opportunities to expand the public’s understanding of Pennsylvania’s environmental issues, and develop skills required to make informed decisions and take responsible action on behalf of the environment.

Eligible Entities: Public bodies, community-based nonprofit corporations, and federally recognized Tribes in rural areas (defined as no more than 20,000 residents according to the latest U.S. Census Data)
