
Act 13 Programs (Marcellus Legacy Fund) Deadline

Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA)
The DCED, through the CFA, is accepting applications for the seven programs funded through Act 13 of 2012, the Marcellus Legacy Fund. Applicants are encouraged to share their intent to apply with their Pennsylvania state representative and state senator. All applications require a $100 non-refundable fee to be paid electronically prior to submitting an application. Grants are available for the following programs:
- Greenways, Trails, and Recreation
- Watershed Restoration Protection
- Baseline Water Quality Data
- Flood Mitigation
- Sewage Facilities
- Abandoned Mine Drainage Abatement and Treatment
- Orphan or Abandoned Well Plugging
Award Amount: Varies by program
Required Match: Varies, but many require at least 15% cash match of the total project cost
Applications Due: May 31, 2023, for earliest consideration at the September 19, 2023, CFA Board meeting
