Green Light-Go: Pennsylvania’s Municipal Signal Partnership Program, also known as the “Green Light-Go Program,” is a state grant established to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals in Pennsylvania. Eligible entities that submitted a completed pre-application scoping form by the November 22, 2024, deadline are eligible to apply. Full applications must be submitted electronically through the Single Application for Assistance system between February 1, 2025, and February 28, 2025. Accessing the application requires a Keystone Login account.
Please note: The Green Light-Go Program is a reimbursement grant program.
Eligible Entities: Pennsylvania counties, cities, boroughs, incorporated towns, townships, home rule municipalities, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, and Rural Planning Organizations that have existing signals and submitted a completed pre-application scoping form by the November 22, 2024, deadline
Award Amount: Total funding available for Year 10 (2025) is approximately $40 million
Required Match: A minimum 20% match that may consist of any combination of federal, state, local, or private funds, except Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) funds which are ineligible.
