This course is conducted over two days and is ideal for safety coordinators, safety committee members, human resource managers, site crew leaders, and anyone else with responsibility for safety compliance where construction activities occur.  The course covers topics such as an overview of OSHA, hazard communications including the new GHS requirements, personal protective equipment, fall protection, caught in-between and struck-by hazards such as construction equipment, cranes and rigging and excavation safety, scaffolding, and stairs and ladders.  Upon completion, each student will receive a 10-hour card issued by the Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that does not expire.
