This course is conducted over two days and is ideal for safety coordinators, safety committee members, human resource managers, supervisors, and anyone else with responsibility for safety compliance within a facility.  The course covers topics such as an overview of OSHA, hazard communications including the new GHS requirements, personal protective equipment, walking and working surfaces, machine safeguarding, material handling, fire prevention and protection, confined spaces, and ergonomics.  Upon completion, each student will receive a 10-hour card issued by the Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that does not expire.
