OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (OSHA) 

OSHA has announced two funding opportunities are available for the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program: Targeted Topic Training and Training and Educational Materials Development. These OSHA-funded grants provide funding for nonprofit and other eligible organizations to deliver occupational safety and health training for workers and employers nationwide. The program focuses on helping participants identify and prevent workplace hazards while increasing awareness of workers’ rights and employers’ responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Each year, OSHA identifies priority safety and health topics based on workplace risks, injury and fatality trends, national emphasis programs, and emerging regulatory needs. Grant recipients develop and deliver training on these topics, with a focus on small businesses, high-hazard industries, and workers who face barriers to accessing safety and health education.

Eligible Entities: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations; 501(c)(5) labor, agricultural, and horticultural organizations; 501(c)(6) trade associations; state and local government-supported institutions of higher education; and other organizations identified by OSHA
