RISE PA Small-Scale Grants Deadline

August 17

PENNSYLVANIA TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (PennTAP)

RISE PA is a statewide industrial decarbonization grant program funded through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grants under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. It offers funding for small-, medium-, and large-scale decarbonization projects at industrial facilities to reduce greenhouse gas and copollutant emissions.

PennTAP is accepting applications for the small-scale award track. Eligible projects must reduce industrial sector emissions through industrial electrification, efficiency and process emissions reductions, switching to low-carbon fuels, installing on-site renewable energy, utilizing carbon capture and storage, and reducing fugitive emissions from natural gas and oil systems and coal mining. This deadline is for the Small-Scale Grants administered by PennTAP.

RISE PA is a reimbursement grant program. Grantees pay all project costs and submit proof that project costs, including matching costs, have been paid, as well as proof of project work completion, to invoice for reimbursement.
