PA DEP’s Small Business Ombudsman Office is accepting applications for the Small Business Advantage Grant Program. It provides reimbursement grants ranging from 50% to 80% of eligible project costs to small businesses in the commonwealth to improve energy efficiency or reduce pollution or waste by upgrading or replacing equipment or supplies, improving processes, or reducing runoff into affected waterways.
Please note: The deadline to apply is an approximate closing date. Applications will be accepted until March 21, 2025, or until the funds are exhausted for the fiscal year, whichever occurs first.
To complete the Small Business Advantage Grant application, visit the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Electronic Single Application website. Paper application submissions will not be accepted. Please refer to the program guidelines for program details and project eligibility requirements.
Eligible Entities: For-profit businesses taxed as a for-profit business in Pennsylvania with 100 or fewer full-time equivalent employees that meet the specific applicant eligibility requirements outlined in the program guidelines
Award Amount: Approximately $1 million in grants will be awarded; varies from up to $7,500 to up to $12,000, based on the environmental impact of the project and whether the project location is in an Environmental Justice Area in Pennsylvania
