PPL Foundation
These capacity-building grants support nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives and well-being of residents by improving education; addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion; and fostering the development of safe, strong, and sustainable communities. In 2019, the PPL Foundation awarded more than $575,000 in grants to 13 nonprofit organizations.

Small Business Advantage Grant (SBAG) Program
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP)
The SBAG program provides 50 percent matching grants to Pennsylvania-based small businesses to adopt processes or acquire equipment that result in energy efficiency, pollution prevention, and natural resource protection.
• Award Amount: $5,000 maximum
• Required Match: 50 percent
• Applications Due: Rolling deadline until funds are exhausted
North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) FY22 U.S. Small Grants
U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS)
The NAWCA Small Grants program offers matching grants that support public-private partnerships carrying out projects furthering the goals of NAWCA to protect and manage the nation’s natural resources. Projects must involve long-term protection, restoration, enhancement, and/or establishment of wetland and associated upland habitats to benefit migratory birds.
• Award Amount: $1,000 to $100,000
• Required Match: 1:1 non-federal match
• Applications Due: Thursday, October 14, 2021 by 4:00 p.m.
