Alternative Fuels Incentive Grant (AFIG) Program
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection
Approximately $3 million in funding is available from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection through its AFIG program that supports vehicle retrofit and/or purchase projects, alternative fuel refueling infrastructure projects, and innovative technology projects. The AFIG program will remain open continuously until December 16, 2022. Townships and municipal authorities are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted through the DCED Electronic Single Application System.
• Award Amount: Maximum grant request is $300,000 per category

Keystone Communities Program (KCP)
Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development
The Keystone Communities Program encourages partnerships that support local initiatives, such as the growth and stability of neighborhoods and communities, as well as social and economic diversity. Local government entities (counties, cities, boroughs, townships, towns, and home rule municipalities) are eligible to apply for KCP grants, which include funds for planning, implementation, facades, development, public improvement, and accessible housing. To be considered, applications must be submitted through the DCED Electronic Single Application System.

PPL Foundation Major Grants
PPL Foundation
The PPL Foundation’s Major Grants program is open to nonprofit organizations that are working to advance residents’ lives by improving education; addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion; and developing safe, strong, and sustainable communities. Applications for the Foundation’s grants should focus on major expansion of programming. Nonprofit organizations (501c3) in Pennsylvania’s 29 counties serviced by PPL Electric Utilities can apply. Municipalities, churches, schools, and chambers of commerce are not eligible.
