York and Lancaster Counties Habitat Improvement Grant Program

Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC)

Funding is available to address habitat improvement and sediment reduction projects in York and Lancaster Counties. Projects may include stream improvement, agricultural best management practices, and small dam removal projects.

• Award Amount: Up to $75,000
• Required Match: Encouraged, but not required
• Applications Due: Friday, April 15, 2022


Lehigh County 2022 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program

United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

Funding is available to municipalities and non-profit organizations for projects benefitting Lehigh County residents living outside of the city limits of Allentown and Bethlehem with a focus on revitalization of low- and moderate-income neighborhoods through the rehabilitation of the existing housing stock and physical improvements to public facilities.

• Award Amount: No stated minimum or maximum
• Required Match: 10% for construction projects
• Public Hearing: Two, duplicate sessions on March 24, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. and March 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
• Applications Due: Friday, April 15, 2022


WalkWorks Active Transportation Plans and Policies

Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH)

Funding is available to assist municipal entities with developing active transportation plans and policies that will improve walking, bicycling, wheeling, and transit connections to everyday destinations and increase safe and accessible opportunities for residents to be physically active.

• Award Amount: $10,000 to $25,000 for active transportation plans, $3,000 to $5,000 to assist with developing Complete Streets and/or Vision Zero policies
• Required Match: None required for communities/counties in priority areas; 10% required for communities/counties not in priority areas
• Letter of Intent Due: Tuesday, March 1, 2022
• Applications Due: Friday, May 13, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
