Green Light-Go: Pennsylvania’s Municipal Signal Partnership Program

Also known as the “Green Light-Go Program,” this state grant was established to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals in Pennsylvania. Municipalities, counties, and planning organizations, such as cities, boroughs, and townships, that have existing signals and submit a completed preapplication scoping form are eligible to apply.

Award Amount: Total funding is anticipated to be $40 million
Required Match: A minimum 20% match that may consist of any combination of federal, state, regional, local, and private funds, including PennDOT preapproved in-kind contributions
Applications Due: Preapplication Scoping Forms: December 23, 2022
Grant Applications: January 31, 2023

Consumptive Use Mitigation Grant Program

Susquehanna River Basin Commission

The purpose of this program is to implement projects that reduce water use or increase water availability during critical low-flow periods throughout the Susquehanna River Basin. This program is open to local, state, and federal government entities; project sponsors; tax-exempt nonprofit organizations; and institutions of higher education. Attend an informational webinar at 2:00 PM on December 8, 2022, to learn more about the program. RSVP by December 2, 2022, to register.

Required Match:
Requested funds up to $500,000: A minimum cash match equal to 10% of the total requested funds
Requested funds of more than $500,000: A minimum cash match equal to 25% of the total requested funds

Small Business Advantage Grant Program

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection

This program provides reimbursement grants to Pennsylvania-based small businesses to adopt processes or acquire equipment that results in energy efficiency, pollution prevention, and natural resource protection. For-profit, taxed businesses with a primary physical location in the Commonwealth that have 100 or fewer full-time equivalent employees are eligible to apply.
