Supplemental Fall Funding Opportunity

Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR)

Funded mainly by the federal American Rescue Plan Act, this special fall round is available from DCNR and largely mirrors its Community Conservation Partnerships Program grants. However, because of its unique federal funding source, there are some differences. Most notably, municipalities with fewer than 5,000 people have a lower match requirement (20%) and no cap on project size.

In addition to more than $8 million available in Keystone Tree Fund money to support watershed and community forestry practices, other priority projects in this special round of funding include community parks and recreation, land conservation/watershed protection, trails, and state and regional partnerships.

To learn more about and apply to the various grant opportunities, please visit the DCNR Grants Customer Service Portal.
