RETTEW is looking for a dynamic and creative Designer to support our Survey/GIS Team

As a Designer, you are  responsible for performing mid-level to complex drafting operations as well as basic to mid-level design using CADD to produce technical drawings. The Designer works independently on drafting assignments and under the supervision of a senior designer, engineer, or project manager on design assignments.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA | Akron, or St. Clairsville, OH

Responsibilities of a Designer include:

1. Technical Drafting & Design

  • Create mid-level to complex drawings on CADD
  • Perform basic to mid-level design tasks
  • Perform manual systems drafting
  • As applicable, provide input for cost estimating purposes
  • May perform onsite review and / or detailed inspection

 

2. File Management

  • Properly file all documents following company and service area procedures
  • Maintain organized project files for current work as well as for archive purposes

3. Team Support

  • Serve as a knowledge resource and trainer for less experienced designers and CADD operators 
  • Perform QA/QC in accordance with company standards
