RETTEW is currently seeking a strong leader for a Survey Crew Chief position to support Survey/GIS team. As a Party Chief, you are responsible for technical field survey services and will conduct land surveys and perform mathematical calculations with a high level of accuracy. Your measurements and calculations will aid the decision-making and design process for various construction and engineering projects.

The essential functions/responsibilities of the position include: 

  • Meet with Project Managers to determine survey needs
  • Perform boundary, topographic and construction stakeout surveys in the field
  • Calculate a wide variety of survey data
  • Participate in the preparation of computer-generated maps and reports based on survey data
  • Maintain accurate records, files and documentation including field notes
  • Coordinate work activities internally to provide seamless client service
