Job Description:

As Senior Project Manager, you will provide experience with design/bid/build projects pertaining to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) projects. Prepare designs, plans specifications and cost estimates for low and medium voltage switchgear and distribution systems, lightening and general power, fire alarm, closed circuit television intrusion detection, and communications systems. You will provide technical support and design direction to project managers and market leads. You will have the chance to grow your skillset and access exciting new projects while integrating with our facilities and construction team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
  • 10+ years engineering consulting experience with industrial power design, including medium (up to 34.5KV and 69KV preferable) and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFD’s, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities. Experience overseeing and executing electrical systems, SCADA systems and power systems designs.
  • High Voltage Substation experience a plus
  • Strong technical background, proven experience leading and delivering projects
  • Experience and enjoyment managing and mentoring staff
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design systems for water and wastewater systems as well as Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
  • Schedule and track budgets between multi disciplines and client contacts
  • Experience with SKM Power Tools for use with arc fault studies, load flow analysis, AC and DC fault analysis.
  • Perform site surveys and provide construction support on projects as required.
  • Provide contractor coordination for construction management, shop drawing reviews and punch lists
  • Manage and ensure quality and safety for all projects
