Before joining RETTEW, Ed Kauffman, Safety Training Manager, provided risk management services to hundreds of organizations from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies for more than a decade. His extensive experience in risk management, safety, and compliance includes worksite inspections, incident investigations, safety policy and procedure development, OSHA compliance assistance and citation mitigation, and third-party liability. In his role as Safety Training Manager, Ed assists RETTEW clients with creating custom training curriculums, developing comprehensive and compliant safety training programs, and coordinating safety training at worksites as well as at RETTEW’s training center in Mechanicsburg.

An Auggie at heart, Ed graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in range and wildlife management. He enjoys analyzing statistical data to identify trends that can impact daily life, but it is his keen interest in the safety of others that enables Ed to deliver solutions based on his years of practical experience. Outside of work, Ed performed as a bassist with a heavy metal/hardcore rock band for more than ten years. Nowadays, he relishes spending his free time with family and friends.
