Felicia Bechtel Selected as Central Penn Business Journal 2024 Women of Influence Honoree
We are thrilled to announce Felicia Bechtel, MSc, PG, Senior Geophysical Advisor at RETTEW, has been named as one of the honorees of the Central Penn Business Journal 2024 Women of Influence award. This award recognizes women who are making significant contributions to their professions and communities, and Felicia exemplifies these qualities through her dedication and leadership.
Felicia’s journey in the field of geophysics is nothing short of inspiring. With a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Brown University, and further academic pursuits at Yale University and Bryn Mawr College, her educational background is impressive. Her career at RETTEW began in 2018, and she quickly rose through the ranks to become the Senior Geophysical Advisor. Before joining RETTEW, Felicia was the President and Founding Principal of Enviroscan, Inc., a geophysics consulting firm she successfully grew for 25 years. Her leadership and vision were instrumental in Enviroscan’s success, ultimately leading to its acquisition by RETTEW.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Felicia is deeply committed to community service and education. She has been a longtime judge for the North Museum Science and Engineering Fair in Lancaster, PA, and frequently speaks at Millersville University’s Annual Glenna Hazeltine Women in STEM Conference. Her efforts in explaining geophysics and fostering a passion for science have made a lasting impact on both the environmental and engineering fields and the community at large. Felicia’s philosophy of saying “yes” to new opportunities and listening before speaking has guided her remarkable career and continues to inspire those around her.
