2026-27 WalkWorks Active Transportation Planning Grants
WalkWorks, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Pennsylvania Downtown Center
WalkWorks provides funds for developing active transportation plans that guide establishing safe, accessible, active routes connecting everyday destinations, so it is safe and convenient for people of all ages and abilities to walk, bike, and use wheelchairs in the course of daily life. DETAILS
All-Terrain Vehicle and Snowmobile
Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR)
DCNR offers grants for all-terrain vehicle and snowmobile projects that include the planning, acquisition of land, development, rehabilitation, maintenance, purchase of equipment for maintenance and construction, and development of education programs related to ATV and/or snowmobile trails and facilities. Chesapeake Bay Small Watershed Grants
National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Chesapeake Bay Program
The Small Watershed Grants (SWG) Program provides funds for projects within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed that promote voluntary, community-based efforts to protect and restore the habitats of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributary rivers and streams. Funding is awarded through two opportunities: SWG Implementation and SWG Planning and Technical Assistance. DETAILS
Act 13 Programs: Marcellus Legacy Fund
Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED)
This program funds statewide initiatives for abandoned mine drainage abatement and treatment; baseline water quality data; flood mitigation; greenways, trails, and recreation; orphan or abandoned well plugging; sewage facilities; and watershed restoration and protection.
