Matt Foster Promoted to Survey/GIS Team Lead
RETTEW is proud to announce the promotion of Matt Foster to the role of Survey/GIS Team Lead, effective June 28, 2025.
Matt has been an invaluable member of our Survey team since joining RETTEW in 2005. With over 20 years of experience in surveying and managing projects, clients, and employees, Matt has consistently demonstrated his expertise and dedication to his craft. He holds a degree in business management from Shippensburg University.
Throughout his career at RETTEW, Matt has been involved in all aspects of surveying, gaining knowledge and confidence along the way as he developed into the leader he is today. He is well respected by his peers, clients, and other RETTEW leaders. His team-building skills have been instrumental in helping the Survey/GIS team meet its annual goals. Matt’s work experience spans all the regions RETTEW serves. Among his many accomplishments at RETTEW, Matt has received the Gold Quality Achievement Award in both 2018 and 2021, the Above & Beyond Award in 2013, and the Presidential Award of Excellence that same year.
In his new role, Matt will be responsible for managing our Survey/GIS team with a refined focus on project efficiency and overall growth in the regional market. He will utilize his formal business education to strengthen the team’s client and project management skills, with an emphasis on increased profitability.
Matt’s drive, business acumen, personality, and extensive experience make him well-suited for this role. He has a proven ability to build a team culture focused on responsiveness, efficiency, and client satisfaction, while consistently building a strong book of business that leads to increased profitability. His recent background in the fast-paced oil and gas industry will be influential in providing leadership to the Survey/GIS team.
