We are pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Kelly to Municipal Team Lead. Melissa succeeds Jim Caldwell as he moves towards full retirement in early 2026.

Melissa began her career with RETTEW in 2007 as a Project Manager in Land Development. She returned to RETTEW in 2015 as a Project Manager in the Civil Municipal group. Melissa brings over 35 years of experience in planning and landscape architecture to her new role. Her expertise spans municipal, recreational, residential, commercial, industrial, and educational projects. She has been instrumental in developing proposals, monitoring budgets, building client relationships, scheduling workflow for staff, and mentoring her team. As a Project Manager, she has coordinated with municipal clients, designed and permitted municipal projects, participated in meetings, prepared municipal ordinances, reviewed land development and subdivision plan submissions, and managed various design disciplines and technical staff.

In her new role, Melissa will be responsible for managing the performance and development of her Municipal team, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality civil, municipal, and water/wastewater engineering services to clients. We are confident Melissa will excel in this new leadership position. Her dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit will be invaluable assets to the team.
