New Transportation Market Lead at RETTEW
RETTEW is delighted to announce Dave Hoglund, regional Transportation Team Lead, will be taking over the role of RETTEW’s Transportation Market Lead from Lonnie Young, effective January 1, 2024. Dave will maintain his current role as a Team Lead while taking on this new responsibility.
Dave has worked at RETTEW for nearly 19 years and has been an integral part of the transportation industry since 2001. His experience includes bridge design and inspection, highway design, and municipal engineering, managing projects for PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and county and local governments. Throughout his tenure at RETTEW, Dave has played a crucial role in the transportation market, contributing significantly to the development of opportunities and pursuits with clients and subconsultants. His involvement in forming teaming arrangements has been a key component of RETTEW’s success.
Dave’s dedication to the transportation industry extends well beyond his work at RETTEW. He previously served as President of the Association for Bridge Construction and Design and President of the American Society of Highway Engineers, Altoona Section. He is an active member in ASHE Harrisburg, ASHE North East Penn, and the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society. He also volunteers on the ACEC Eastern Chapter Innovative Delivery Subcommittee. These highly demanding volunteer roles demonstrate Dave’s commitment to professional development and collaboration within his field.
