Perdue Soybean Processing Facility Site Planning

Perdue Grain and Oilseed, LLC (Perdue) desired to build a regional soybean processing facility based on current and future soybean needs in the region. The project was on an aggressive schedule, and the client anticipated encountering organized opposition.

Perdue chose RETTEW because of our knowledge and experience with the local and county government and our comprehensive in-house expertise. We secured the necessary height variances and land development approvals quickly, keeping the project on schedule. Our team of experts also provided surveying, geotechnical investigations, stormwater management, and air quality permitting — all necessary steps in receiving approvals to begin construction. Since Perdue operates out of state, they trusted RETTEW to follow the right steps and perform due diligence to ensure project success.
