RETTEW recently welcomed Patrick Zaepfel as General Counsel at its headquarters in Lancaster, Pa.
Zaepfel has consulted for RETTEW throughout the past several years on a variety of contract and compliance matters. As general counsel, his responsibilities will include managing legal aspects of the firm’s operations as well as insurance and risk management. Zaepfel will also manage compliance and licensure requirements in the multiple states the company has offices or projects in. He will continue to operate his private practice, Zaepfel Law, PC., also located in Lancaster.

Zaepfel has nearly 20 years of experience in environmental and corporate law, including service at the PA Department of Environmental Protection and as in-house counsel with the P.H. Glatfelter Company. Zaepfel holds a juris doctorate from Washington University in Saint Louis, with a bachelor’s degree in public policy studies from Duke University. Zaepfel has also earned a master of laws postgraduate degree in environmental law from The George Washington University Law School.
He resides in West Lampeter Township with his family.
