LANCASTER, Pa. — RETTEW announced today that Suhail Khan, current Vice President of Technology and Facilities, has been promoted to a new position at the firm: Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO), effective September 1, 2019. Mr. Khan’s promotion follows the promotion of Clayton Bubeck, PE, from Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer to President, also effective September 1.

In his new role as CSIO, Mr. Khan will focus on identifying and implementing strategies and innovations to improve RETTEW’s competitiveness and preserve the long-term sustainability of the organization. He will help optimize and align annual objectives and key results, corporate initiatives, planning and support services, alliances and acquisitions, and client offerings, all with company strategy at the root.

One of Mr. Khan’s first initiatives will be working with Mr. Bubeck and other RETTEW leaders to assess the firm’s competitive strategy and market position. As part of this, he will lead the development of a new strategic plan in 2020.

“I am truly honored to take on this new role as RETTEW’s CSIO,” Mr. Khan said. “I am committed to continuing my solid partnership with Mr. Bubeck, our talented management team and employees, and our valued clients to continue our momentum and seize the enormous opportunities in front of us.”

Since 1996, Mr. Khan has been an integral part of RETTEW’s Information Technology team, first as a technician and then rising through the ranks to the role of Vice President. During this time, he has strategized, researched, and managed the implementation of several major technology systems at RETTEW. In addition, Mr. Khan has played a key role in leading RETTEW’s Facilities team. He has negotiated facility leases and directed numerous office moves in coordination with regional leaders, with a significant positive impact on the bottom line and minimal disruption to staff and clients.

In addition to his internal efforts, Mr. Khan has worked directly with RETTEW’s clients, providing IT services, web and GIS application development, and strategic planning. He is versed in both traditional and agile project management and has extensive experience in lean operational planning and execution.

As a corporate executive and board member, Mr. Khan provides mentoring and coaching to staff at all levels, governance in corporate policies and standards, and guidance in corporate planning and marketing. His leadership in daily operations, strategic direction, and his ability to streamline corporate resources amidst tremendous growth and change within the company have helped RETTEW become the firm it is today.

Mr. Khan has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Millersville University, a Master’s degree in Information Science from The Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also has his LEED Green Associate credential and a Business Analytics certificate from MIT.
