LANCASTER, Pa. – RETTEW, an Engineering News-Record top 500 design firm providing engineering, transportation, environmental consulting, planning and surveying services, recently named Timothy A. Falkenstein to the position of client account manager.

“Tim has the technical expertise, communication skills and the drive to understand our clients’ business and what success looks like in their industry,” said Mark Lauriello, PE, president, RETTEW. “I congratulate Tim on his being named to this new position.”

Falkenstein has been with RETTEW for more than 17 years and began his career in the firm’s environmental sciences department. He has an extensive background in project management and operations and served as RETTEW’s senior biologist for six years, responsible for wetland identification and delineation, environmental assessments and rare species searches. With more than 20 years of environmental consulting experience, he also served as group manager in environmental sciences, where he was responsible for providing guidance to project managers, and other technical team members. He was named shareholder in 2010.

Falkenstein holds an associate’s degree in forestry and a bachelor’s degree in environmental resource management from Penn State University, and a master’s degree in biology from Ship­pensburg University. Falkenstein resides in Springettsbury Township, York County, Pa.
