LANCASTER, Pa. – RETTEW, an Engineering News-Record top 500 design firm providing engineering, transportation, environmental consulting, land development, planning and surveying services, recently promoted D. Eric Brinser, RLA, to group manager of land development in the firm’s Mechanicsburg office. Brinser previously served as a project manager in land development.

As manager of the land development group in RETTEW’s Mechanicsburg office, Brinser is responsible for oversight and administration of project teams as well as scheduling, consultant coordination and budget and billing management. In his new role, he also attends public meetings, mentors staff and is responsible for business development and building and maintaining client relationships. His duties also include project management, site design, site planning, master planning, zoning submittals, land development, and construction administration for industrial, commercial, institutional, recreational and residential projects.
Brinser has 16 years of experience in subdivision and land development planning for industrial, commercial, institutional, recreational and residential projects. He has been with RETTEW for more than 10 years, first arriving as a project landscape architect and later promoted to project manager. RETTEW named Brinser an associate of the firm in 2010, based on his leadership and contribution to the firm’s growth, profitability and overall success.
Brinser is a registered landscape architect with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from West Virginia University. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Urban Land Institute. He resides in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pa.
