connects2040 Implementation Program

Lancaster County Planning Department

Funding is available to support projects that provide tangible benefits to Lancaster County in the near future. Therefore, at least 80% of the available funding will be allocated to construction projects, and no more than 20% to transportation and land use studies. Projects funded through the program must be open to the general public and ADA accessible.

• Required Match: 20% for study; 100% of pre-construction costs for construction projects
• Notice of Intent Due: Monday, May 23, 2022

• Applications Due: Friday, July 1, 2022


Growing Greener Plus Grants

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection

Funding is available for programs covered under the Growing Greener Plus Grants Program, including Growing Greener Watershed Restoration and Protection, Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act (SMCRA) Bond Forfeiture, and Abandoned Mine Drainage (AMD) Set-Aside grants. There are new watershed grant features, including watershed plan implementation in agriculturally impaired catchments; shovel-ready Chesapeake Bay projects applying for Countywide Action Plan Implementation Grants; and watershed-based planning, restoration, and protection efforts.

• Award Amount: Not to exceed $3 million for any project
• Required Match: Minimum 15%

Youth Development Foundation (YDF) Grant

Major League Baseball and Major League Baseball Players Association YDF

Funding is available for a variety of purposes including funding capital projects (e.g., field renovations), baseball/softball programs, and education initiatives. Capital projects include building and renovating fields and practice facilities and installing lighting. Baseball/softball programs include in-school/after-school baseball/softball programming, equipment and uniforms, umpire fees, player registration fees, and practice facility rental fees. Education initiatives include programs, exhibits, and other learning opportunities that use baseball and softball as its primary focus to promote interest and engagement in the game.
