Virtual Workshop: C2P2 – Community Conservation Partnerships Program Updates for 2027

PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES (DCNR)
DCNR’s Bureau of Recreation and Conservation is hosting its 2026 Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) Statewide Annual Grant Workshop to help prospective applicants prepare for the 2027 C2P2 grant cycle. This free, virtual workshop will provide an overview of eligible project types, program priorities, and selection criteria while helping attendees develop stronger project concepts and funding strategies.
The workshop is especially important this year, as DCNR is updating the application questions and selection criteria for 2027. Both first-time and experienced applicants are encouraged to attend to learn about these changes, understand what reviewers will be looking for, and gain practical tips for developing a more competitive grant application.
A general session for all applicants will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by project-specific breakout sessions covering areas such as community recreation, trails, land conservation, rivers conservation, forestry, and partnerships. Participants will also have opportunities to engage directly with DCNR grant managers and regional advisors during dedicated question-and-answer sessions.
Who Should Attend: Municipal officials, consultants, board members, trail managers, land trust staff, and park and recreation professionals
