RETTEW, an Engineering News-Record top design firm, this month opened an office in West Virginia. Located in Bridgeport, the office will serve as a base for staff members performing onsite work for clients in the region.

The office will complement RETTEW’s two nearby offices in Pittsburgh, Pa. and Canton, Ohio. Primarily focusing on the needs of the firm’s energy clients, the site will also host staff working in the industrial, telecommunications and transportation markets. Five RETTEW employees will work from the site at first; RETTEW plans to grow its local staff in accordance with clients’ needs.

“As we strengthen our operations in the Northeast in response to clients’ needs, we’re excited to add another office to support our repertoire of services and quality personnel,” said Mark Lauriello, president.

Including the West Virginia site, RETTEW now operates 10 offices in five states throughout the Northeast, Midwest, and Southwest. The engineering and consulting firm provides facility design, pipeline services, water planning, pump station design, geotechnical services and environmental permitting for land development projects in a variety of industries. RETTEW specializes in environmental investigations, engineering design for energy infrastructure, and safety training and compliance.
