RETTEW is pleased to announce Lonnie Young, Vice President of RETTEW’s Transportation and Natural Sciences groups, has accepted the role of Central Chapter Vice President for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA), effective June 16, 2020.

“ACEC/PA is continuously looking out for the interests and success of engineering consultants statewide. I welcome the opportunity to be part of that outreach and collaboration, as well as influencing the comments ACEC/PA provides to agencies that might be coming down the pike,” Mr. Young said.

Mr. Young has 30 years of experience as a project manager and principal-in-charge of transportation, utility, oil and gas, governmental, and telecommunication projects. He provides leadership to his team by establishing a strategic vision, communicating and motivating personnel to follow that vision, and ensuring it is aligned with RETTEW’s overall goals and objectives.

Through his vast experience and knowledge of regulations, he provides solutions and ideas for clients’ unique challenges and situations. Mr. Young also plays a key role in RETTEW’s business development efforts by identifying and developing emerging markets, establishing operations in new regions, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Comprised of more than 120 independent engineering firms throughout the commonwealth representing over 13,000 engineers, land surveyors, scientists, technicians, and other professionals; ACEC/PA is the only association devoted exclusively to the promotion and enhancement of the business interests and profitability of engineering firms with offices in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
