At one horse farm in Pennsylvania, both horses and children will benefit from RETTEW.
The RETTEW Charitable Foundation recently provided $5,000 in grant funding to Leg Up Farm in York County, PA.
The farm is a nonprofit therapy center for children with special needs.
Each child in need receives an individually tailored treatment plan in a child-friendly environment. Treatments are not limited to equine therapy; they can also range from speech therapy to occupational therapy and feeding therapy. Experts in all spectrums of development work with children at Leg Up Farm. The nonprofit has served more than 1,500 special needs children and their families.
The RETTEW Charitable Foundation works directly with staff to support causes the employees are passionate about, and each grant is paired with a hands-on volunteer element as well.
