Pennsylvania Department of Transportation

Also known as the “Green Light-Go Program,” this state grant was established to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals in Pennsylvania. Municipalities, counties, and planning organizations, such as cities, boroughs, and townships, that have existing signals and submit a completed preapplication scoping form are eligible to apply.

Award Amount: Total funding is anticipated to be $40 million
Required Match: A minimum of 20% match that may consist of any combination of federal, state, regional, local, and private funds, including PennDOT preapproved in-kind contributions
Applications Due: Grant Applications: January 31, 2023

Only applicants who submitted a preapplication scoping form by December 23, 2022, are eligible to apply.
