Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, under the direction of the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA)

This program was created to provide grants to public school districts and area career and technical schools for eligible facility improvement projects including, but not limited to, roof repairs and replacement, boilers, plumbing, health and safety upgrades, and window repairs and replacements. Grants are available for projects with a total project cost of $500,000 or more. Please refer to the Program Guidelines for complete details.

Eligible Entities: School districts or area career and technical schools
Award Amount: Varies; grant requests shall not exceed $5 million per eligible improvement project
Required Match: A cash match of 25% of total eligible project costs, although no matching funds will be required for a project that is determined by the CFA to be an emergency.
