Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)

TASA provides funding for alternative transportation projects and activities, which can include pedestrian and bicycle facilities, community improvement activities, and Safe Routes to School projects. It is funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, enacted as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

TASA is not a grant program. No money is provided upfront. Projects are funded at 100% of the construction cost, including construction inspection.
