York County Planning Commission

This program provides grant funding to municipalities, York County Parks Department and other York County agencies, school districts, and charitable nonprofit organizations with 501(c) status. It offers three grant categories: Land Acquisition, Planning and Ordinance Assistance, and Marcellus Shale Legacy Fund. Award Amount: Land Acquisition Grants: $150,000 maximum; Planning & Ordinance Assistance Grants: $25,000 per municipality; Marcellus Shale Legacy Fund Grants: $40,000
Required Match: Land Acquisition Grants: 50 % of the project cost; Planning & Ordinance Assistance Grants: 50% of the total cost of the project; Marcellus Shale Legacy Fund Grants: Not applicable
