It’s got good food, culture, art, and community.

Lancaster was recently named by Forbes Magazine as a top place in the U.S. to visit. Our headquarters are just outside the city, and we agree: it’s pretty awesome.

No shortage of flavor

Lancaster has options for every type of food occasion – a night at the pub, a French dessert, pizza on the rooftop, a leisurely Sunday brunch, or fresh ingredients in a bowl. The area is especially well-known for the diversity of ethnic foods – you can find Caribbean, Vietnamese, Mexican, Puerto Rican, French, Spanish, and so many more.

It’s a Colorful Place

Dozens of art galleries sprinkled throughout downtown add color to many streets. The Fulton Theater, the longest-running theater in the country, produces shows on multiple stages year-round. Other downtown venues and theater companies also regularly host music or live shows.

Altogether for the Community

Many, many groups host a variety of community events throughout the year, from 5k runs through the city to family events to art shows. Some of the major themes include the annual craft beerfest, Indian Arts Gala, the summer music series, and Open Streets of Lancaster.

Small Business Shopping

There are eclectic shops of all shapes and sizes in Lancaster City, many featuring handmade and vintage items. You can find fancy kitchen gadgets, hand-blown glass, fresh veggies and fruits, recycled art, and so much more.
