When working in the Subsurface Utility Engineering department at RETTEW, Bill enjoys the challenge of using instruments to locate things most people never see. However, occasionally, doing so can be the challenge – like when he was working at a military subcontractor facility and couldn’t use a GPS to collect the desired geospatial data. Why? He discovered the facility was testing several recently completed GPS satellites in a nearby building!

As a big sci-fi fan, Bill likes to explore the “what ifs” of otherworldly stories. But back here on Earth, when he’s not busy locating, designating, and delineating buried infrastructure for a RETTEW project, you’ll find him doing all kinds of woodworking and DIY projects in his carpentry shop.
