As RETTEW’s Geotechnical and Geophysics Team Lead, Chris Brixius loves applying his knowledge of diverse geological environments to a wide range of challenges. With nearly three decades of experience in geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting, he oversees everything from site reconnaissance and drilling operations to laboratory analyses and report preparation.

When he’s not diving into the depths of geotechnical engineering, Chris is out exploring the world through geocaching, a hobby that perfectly blends his love for adventure and problem-solving. He also embarks on regular camping trips with the Boy Scouts of America, where he shares his knowledge and skills of the outdoors as he mentors young people in his dual roles as Cubmaster and Scoutmaster.

Chris is actively involved in his children’s sports, too. Whether he’s cheering them on from the sidelines or stepping in to help, he’s always there to support them. Here, Chris is pictured with his middle son at a recent Scouting event.
