Meet Dave Mostoller, Geophysics/Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Team Lead at RETTEW!

With close to 25 years of experience, Dave is still driven to provide solutions for RETTEW’s clients. He’s excited about the depth of talent RETTEW has through our newly combined Geophysics/SUE team to serve clients on a variety of projects and across all our regions.

The reason Dave loves geology so much can be traced back to when he was child and hated getting haircuts. His father’s barber was a rock and mineral collector. Every time Dave went for a haircut, his barber would give him a rock or mineral sample. From the initial bribe on, he started collecting rocks in the woods behind his house, on family vacations, and everywhere in between. And the rest, as they say, is history.

When Dave isn’t finding solutions to his client’s challenges, fly fishing is his passion. There is world-class trout fishing in Pennsylvania with tremendous public access. Many streams do not have closed seasons, so he is able to fish all year long. And no, he won’t tell you his secret spots!! So don’t ask!
