Meet Mark Snider, a seasoned professional and Team Lead for RETTEW’s Survey/GIS group. With diverse experience spanning over 15 years, Mark has honed his skills in designing site layouts, construction plans, stormwater controls, and mapping for oil, gas, and mining projects.

His career as a surveyor and FAA-licensed drone pilot has been filled with unique experiences, but one that stands out is his time spent surveying underground. He explains that unlike traditional surveying methods where the control is set in the ground, in underground surveying the ceiling becomes your guide, presenting a challenging environment.

But when the surveys are set, and the drones docked, Mark finds solace in life’s simpler pleasures. If he’s not already busy enjoying quality time with his wife and children, you will most likely find him perfecting his golf swing, whipping up a culinary storm, or cheering on his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers, as seen here.
