Sarah Powanda is a project technician at RETTEW with a passion for learning and self-expression. She enjoys the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the Geophysics/Subsurface Utility Engineering team, which challenges her to learn new things every day.

Not only curious about her work but also about the world, Sarah lived abroad in a small city in Japan for a year, where she immersed herself in the culture and language. However, Lancaster holds a special place in her heart here in Pennsylvania because of its diversity and vibrancy. When she’s not discovering the area’s emerging artists and exploring the newest restaurants and shops, Sarah loves spending her quiet time reading and hanging out with her cat, Crumpet.

Creative by nature, she enjoys crafting, making clothes, and collaborating on projects with her friends who share her passion for fashion and art. “One of my favorite things outside of work is to have fun dressing up and expressing myself.
