Meet Shaun Davidson, RETTEW’s Health, Safety & Environment Team Lead at work—and a dedicated baseball coach off the clock. With more than 20 years of experience in occupational safety and environmental health, Shaun is a trusted leader in risk management, compliance, and corporate safety program development. He’s our go-to expert on ISO standards and a skilled trainer in everything from lockout/tagout procedures to emergency action plans.
Outside of work, Shaun brings the same dedication to coaching youth baseball. A former player himself, he now serves as a head coach for the East Pennsboro Youth Athletic League and assistant coach for the Carlisle Royals 14U travel team. Over the years, he’s coached 11 teams—nine as head coach—and this fall will mark his 12th team coaching. Highlights include winning a division title and contributing to three Little League District teams. But, Shaun says the most rewarding part of coaching has been watching his son grow alongside a close-knit group of friends and families through the years, many of whom still call him “Coach” when they see him in the community—a title he’s proud to carry.
Whether he’s fishing for smallmouth bass, teeing off on the golf course, or enjoying the crisp air and vibrant foliage of fall, Shaun’s love for the outdoors is matched by his admiration for the Greatest Generation and a deep interest in World War II history. And, although he may joke about wanting to have Magneto’s powers, Shaun’s real superpower is building safer workplaces and stronger communities—one audit, one training, and one baseball season at a time.
