As you got up and ready for your day this morning, how many times did you use water?

To brush your teeth? Take a shower? Make coffee? Drink a glass of water?

Water is an essential part of our daily lives, and investing in water infrastructure is an important part of our present and future.

Not only does it affect our (very important) coffee making and showering, it also impacts our economy…our travel…even our groceries!

An economic study released by the Value of Water Campaign earlier this year found that one day without water in the U.S. would put $43.5 billion of economic activity at risk.

Local municipalities, states, and water utilities are faced with piecing together funding and capital plans to improve our infrastructure. In many places, systems have been deteriorating for years, putting the community at risk.

Imagine a Day Without Water is an annual day of awareness and action. Let’s work together starting today to ask our country’s leaders to invest in water infrastructure for our economy, homes, and public health.

At RETTEW, we use our expertise and relationships to help water and sewer authorities of all sizes optimize operations, saving ratepayers money while keeping the infrastructure well maintained and prepared for the future!
